Currently, there is a lack of centralized coordination between the Department of Education (DOE), local businesses and community groups. This has resulted in missed opportunities and frustration by those who want to help our local schools. Pilot efforts are underway that will connect volunteers with schools. If you are interested in helping out contact the Business-Education Partnership Office at 586-3687 or our office 586-8585.
